PAOLA BERTOLINI
Brazilian actress, producer, light designer, and photographer. She has graduated in theater/art education from UNISO and Dramatic and Musical Conservatory Tatuí-SP/Brazil. As an actress, she worked with renowned directors in Brazil and performed in international festivals in Brazil and Belgium. As a producer and light designer, she already presented her work in Brazil, Bolivia, and Belgium. As a photographer, she photographs dance creations and different landscapes around the world. Since 2009, she is responsible for the production and the photography of the Brazilian dance group Pró-Posição.
JANICE VIEIRA
Brazilian dancer, choreographer, and musician. She won the Prêmio Governador do Estado (Governor of the State’s Award) in 2013, one of the most important awards for dancers in Brazil, for her career as a choreographer. In the 70s, she founded the Pró-Posição Group, participating in significant contemporary dance movements in Brazil and in the U.S. In the 80s, she choreographed stage productions and worked with renowned Brazilian directors. Since 2001, she is music director of Katharsis Theater Group (Sorocaba-SP/Brazil). In 2013, her history was immortalized in the documentary Janice Vieira - Dance Figures, produced by São Paulo Dance Company. Since 2007, she has been performing in dance pieces with her daughter, the dancer, and actress Andréia Nhur.
ROBERTO GILL CAMARGO
Stage director, playwright, and light designer. Professor of the University of Sorocaba (Brazil) and Visitant Professor of stage lighting in ESMAE (Porto-Portugal). He holds a doctoral degree in Semiotics and Communication from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. Since 1995, he directs the Katharsis Theater Group (Sorocaba-SP/Brazil), and leads theatrical research on co-evolutive scenic processes. He is the author of books such as Função Estética da Luz (Perspectiva, 2012) and Conceito de Iluminação Cênica (Rio de Janeiro, 2012), considered the main published works on this subject in Brazil.
